The biggest event in The Bedford Tavern's calendar is fast approaching. The Easter street party is set to be our biggest and best yet as we raise funds for the Sussex Beacon.
Western Street will once again be closed to traffic from noon as the Easter shenanigans commence.
The Easter Bonnet parade will commence a 1.30pm (earlier this year) with Brighton & Hove's Mayor attending to judge the bonnets and award prizes. (To encourage more people to take part in the bonnet parade we will be holding a bonnet making evening at The Bedford before the main event - more details to follow)
Place your bets as the popular Drag races will commence from 2.30pm. Drag kings and queens will be racing up and down Western street throughout the afternoon with some fabulous prizes up for grabs should you back a winning queen.
From 5pm the awesome JB will entertain with a traditional pub sing-a-long followed by the notorious piano bingo at 6pm.
If that was not enough we have fantastic evening cabaret with Spice, Sally Vate, Candi Rell and Miss Treated and winding up with the return of the charity kamikaze karaoke.
